Teenager dies after being stabbed in East London
A murder investigation is under way after a 19-year-old was stabbed to death in east London last night. Police were called to Abbey Road in Barking which is close to Barking Abbey grounds at around 22:10. Paramedics attempted to save the life of the injured young man but was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. A post-mortem examination is due to take place shortly and no arrests have been made.
The murder of a young man in Barking is the latest in a string of violent incidents in the capital this week. Including this latest murder, police are investigating 7 murders in the capital this week. As well as this murder a string of other violent incidents have taken place across the capital including the shooting of a 26-year-old man in Tottenham which left the victim fighting for his life in hospital.
