Murder probe after man stabbed to death in Peckham, South London

A 39-year-old who was stabbed during an incident 6 days ago in Peckham has died in hospital, prompting a murder inquiry. Juan Olmos Saca who was from the Southwark area was taken to hospital following a fight on the 29th January. Mr Saca was taken to hospital following the incident but has since passed away, sparking a murder inquiry.

During the incident a second man was also stabbed in his head and stomach but has since been released from hospital. A man has been arrested and charged on suspicion of attempted murder in relation to the stabbing, but the charges will be reviewed accordingly following Mr Saca’s death the Metropolitan Police said.

Metropolitan Police officers are investigating 7 murders in the capital this week including the fatal stabbing of Khader Saleh, 25 inside of Wormwood Scrubs Prison and the fatal stabbing of a 22-year-old man in Tottenham, North London.
