Two men injured in Luton shopping centre stabbing

Two men were injured after being stabbed in a busy shopping centre in Luton, Beds. Police were called to The Mall in Luton at around 2:30pm to reports of two men suffering from stab wounds. A number of police officers attended the scene along with paramedics, who took the injured men to hospital. The Mall was closed and the area was cordoned off by police as they conducted investigations. The condition of both men remain unknown.

The stabbing took place in front of horrified shoppers on what would have been a busy part of Luton on a Sunday afternoon when families would have been out enjoying the weekend. Videos and pictures posted on social media depict a gory scene, with blood trails splattered across the floor and a large, bloodied knife on the floor outside WHSmiths. Further graphic pictures show one of the injured men receiving treatment from bystanders.
