Teenager dies after stabbing in the West Midlands
A 19-year-old man has died after being stabbed in Walsall in the West Midlands. Police were called to an address on Willows Road in the Chuckery area of the town at 01:46 am. Police and paramedics attended the scene where they found the injured 19-year-old but despite the best efforts of paramedics, the man sadly died. Officers have been conducting forensic enquiries at the house and the road around the scene remains cordoned off.
It is believed that trouble erupted after a party at the house. The victim has not been named but it is believed that next of kin have been made aware and that the family are being supported by the police. Detective Inspector Ian Wilkins, from the force’s homicide team said: “Investigations are at an early stage, but there appears to have been a party at an address in Willows Road which resulted in a disorder and a young man tragically losing his life.” There have been no arrests in the murder inquiry at this stage.
