Keith Ellison: The Antifa loving extremist
Keith Ellison is the US Representative for Minnesota’s 5th congressional district and is seen as a rising star of the DNC. He is a major figure in the progressive wing of the party and has been tipped by many to be a future leader of the party. Yesterday Tucker Carlson presented a segment about a tweet which Keith Ellison sent out. It was a picture of Keith Ellison holding a book entitled “Antifa: The Anti-Fascist Handbook,” which was written by Mark Bray. Under the caption, Keith Ellison wrote “At @MoonPalaceBooks and I just found the book that strike fear in the heart of @realDonaldTrump.” As we all know, Antifa are the far-left “protest movement” that have been causing havoc across America. Antifa have been involved in many acts of low-level violence such as the Berkley riots. There have been many calls to designate this group Antifa as a “domestic terror organization.” Keith Ellison’s apparent endorsement of this group is worrying, but looking into this mans past, not entirely surprising.
Keith Ellison, a man who could conceivably be the future leader of the DNC, a US Representative and an intellectual leader of the progressive movement within the Democrats holds views that are deeply troubling. Doing some research on the internet it is not hard to find evidence of Keith Ellison’s extreme views and associations. In the 1990’s, Keith Ellison had close connections to renowned hate preacher and anti-Semite Louis Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam. Keith Ellison has shared platforms with hate preachers such as Khalid Abdul Muhammad. Khalid Abdul Muhammad is one of these hate preachers who spouts the same nonsense about “the white man” or as he so eloquently puts it “the cracker.” Keith Ellison also wrote articles under the pseudonym Keith Hakim for the University of Minnesota’s newspaper defending Louis Farrakhan for his anti-Semitism back in 1989 and 1990.
Keith Ellison also wrote under his pseudonym in the Minnesota Daily an op-ed stating that he believed in the establishment of a black ethno-state in the American South. Keith Ellison now says that he denounces these beliefs, claiming that he now believes that the Nation of Islam is anti-Semitic and that his views on Israel merely correspond with the left’s view on Israel (so only against the Zionists? We all know what Zionist is code for!) Ellison’s connection with Muslim extremists goes further than just a youthful adulation of the Nation of Islam and Louis Farrakhan, he has also shared platforms with the Islamic Society of North America, which is associated with CAIR. CAIR or the Council on American Islamic Relations has been found to have links with the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas. Keith Ellison has also associated with members of the Muslim Brotherhood. While on a pilgrimage to Mecca, Ellison met with Sheikh Abdallah Bin Bayyah, an officer of the Muslim Brotherhood who has in the past issued a fatwa against US troops.
Keith Ellison has a past that in most sane worlds would make people question whether he is fit to be in charge of a sports team, never mind one of the United States major political parties. Just spending an hour of research there is plenty of extremist baggage in this mans background. If this is the man that is one of the intellectual godfathers of the progressive wing of the Democrats, it is no wonder why so many people hate progressive politics. This latest tweet shows that Keith Ellison has absolutely no qualms in supporting those who advocate violence, hatred and intimidation on the streets of America, as he has done many times in the past before. Many on the left are always questioning the mental competency of Donald Trump to hold office. I think if Donald Trump was espousing some of the views that Keith Ellison has endorsed over his life they might have a point. Keith Ellison is clearly an extremist and every sensible Democrat (if there are any left) should be deeply concerned that a man such has this holds such influence over their party.
